About Me
I earned my B.S. in Horticulture from Clemson University and my M.P.S. in Applied Entomology from University of Maryland, College Park. Throughout my schooling, I have interned at premiere venues including the Carolina Panthers Stadium, Tryon Palace, and George Washington's Mount Vernon. After working in Maryland as an Extension agent for 4 years, I created Alexa Gardens as a way to bring the sustainable and eco-friendly fine gardening practices learned through education and current research to the garden design and maintenance industry. I seek to employ these practices in the maintenance and design of small landscapes in order to support a healthy and diverse ecosystem. I look forward to developing and maintaining garden spaces that are as meaningful for our planet as they will be for you and your family.
